At WhichArea.ai, our privacy philosophy is simple: we do not want your personal data.Our platform is built to provide completely unbiased, mathematical micro-market recommendations. To remain unbiased, we intentionally designed our systems to store as little information as possible.
When you enter your commute destinations (e.g., office or school), those coordinates are sent to our servers solely to calculate your 30-minute commute overlap. We do not store these addresses or coordinates. They are processed transiently in server memory to return your results, and are immediately discarded. We do not use user accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
Because we do not store your search queries, locations, or personal information, there is zero long-term retention of your personal data. Your session data exists only locally on your own browser.
We do not sell, license, or share your data with brokers, builders, or advertisers.Our business model does not rely on lead generation or selling buyer intent. While we do have a B2B offering (scorecard widgets for builders), this product works in reverse: builders embed our unbiased scorecards on their own websites. We do not feed your search data to them.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, users have the right to request data deletion, export, and review. Because WhichArea.ai is a "zero-PII" platform that stores no identifiable data, there is nothing for us to export or delete. You are always in complete control of your data because it never leaves your device permanently.
All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS. Because no data is stored at rest in our databases, there is no risk of a data breach compromising your personal location history.
